This is the second time my family and I were able to come and enjoy the wonderful, clean accommodations. We were able to see another aspect of the farm this fall versus when came in summer and what an awesome production! Thank you for always making us feel welcomed. We may make this a yearly spot for get away.

Having never stayed in the area before we were pleasantly surprised by the location of the cranberry farm and the size/condition of the home. Lots of open space inside and out. It was a little warm throughout (even with fans provided), with the exception of the master bedroom that has a really nice AC unit. Quiet, cool, and easy to use.
We would love to stay again. The tour of the farm with Art was really cool. The process of growing and harvesting the berries is fascinating. The only suggestions from us would be a television in the master bedroom, and some type of cooling option in the 2 smaller bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. However, even if such improvements weren’t viable, we would still come back in a heart beat. Thanks so much!
We are genuinely pleased you enjoyed your stay here as well as the area. Yes, not having air conditioning has posed a problem this summer with as hot as it’s been. Whew! She was a hot one this summer. We will continue to figure out what we can do to make it better. Thank you for your input and we hope to see you next year!

This place is great! We were in the area for a family reunion which was only 4 miles away. The house had almost everything we needed. There was plenty of space and it was very clean.
The only thing I would suggest is to have some fans. The weekend was hot and humid with very little breeze. The only room with AC is the master bedroom and even with windows open it got pretty warm in the rest of the house. We went out and bought a fan which helped.
We will definitely be back next year!
Thank you for your very kind review. We try to provide a very clean and stocked home for our visitors, and it’s nice to be noticed for that. We took your advice and went out and bought fans for the bedrooms and living rooms. Thank you for your comments, as we want our guests to be happy and return for years to come.
We look forward to seeing you next year!

My husband, 2 children and myself had the pleasure of staying on this property while by other child went to an overnight camp in nearby location. We could not have been more pleased with the calm and relaxing setting as well as close activities for families and young children. There was nearby beach access as well as a boat launch across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the workings of the cranberry farm and the ability to tour first hand. The cranberry farm has a store that we purchased pancake mix, brownie mix and wine all made from home grown goodness. We enjoyed meeting the property owner and farm manager who were very welcoming and showed the utmost customer service in order for us to have a wonderful fun filled and also comfortable stay. We plan to bring my parents and enjoy seeing the farm in the fall for a different season experience as well as possibly again during the time the bees are pollinating the plants which is supposedly a site you wouldn’t want to miss. Thank you all for a wonderful time!
It was truly our pleasure to host this family. We were not quite sure how this would all work being our first year hosting vacationers, but it has been a wonderful experience and have had some really nice people staying with us here at the Cranberry Retreat. We look forward to this family coming back in the future, and welcome anyone who is looking for some peaceful and relaxing time away from their busy lives.
